Arawak Walton Housing Association

Arawak Walton has a proud heritage in helping to create vibrant and sustainable multi-cultural neighbourhoods in inner city areas. They have more than 25 years experience so they understand the challenges of social deprivation and exclusion and have worked hard to provide good quality, affordable housing to their residents, regardless of age, gender or race.

They are proud of what they have achieved so far and are committed to continuing this good work, exploring all opportunities to ensure the communities they create continue to be both safe havens and places to thrive. They are passionate about what they do and are passionate about people.

They employ 33 highly trained and committed staff members and support thousands of people in over 1000 homes across Manchester, Stockport and Trafford. They are now the largest independent black and minority ethnic (BME) Housing Association in the North West, with an asset base of around £57 million and turnover in the region of £5 million. They aim to stay true to their roots, continuing to deliver good quality, affordable housing and services to support their local communities.
