Forum Housing Association
In the early 1960’s, Nina Corcoran, a Church Social Worker had identified numerous single mums who had become homeless, but had nowhere to go. Not satisfied with this response, Nina brought together a number of Christians to look at how they could provide a response which would help them. Together they were able to identify and buy a house, and in 1969 Forum Housing Association was officially established.
For almost five decades, FHA have increased their accommodation offer to include Wirral, Cheshire West, Cheshire East and Chester. Alongside providing housing for young people they also provide services which help people to achieve their potential whether that be through career coaching, floating support or learning programmes. We currently work with over 350 people each week.
